Warnings


Hard Floor:

Murches Sports Hall (coordinates: 38.7366777453321, -9.439991017940558)

There will be other sports activities at the Hard Floor during the weekend, so we thank you for complying with the following rules and schedules:

Friday – entry from 10 PM, exit on Saturday until 8 AM, collecting all the material – if you wish, a space will be available at the Hard Floor to leave some of your belongings

Sábado - entry from 7 PM, exit on Saturday until 8 AM

It is strictly forbidden to eat inside the Hard Floor, only the stands can be used for this purpose.

It is strictly forbidden to enter the Hard Floor wearing spiked shoes.

 

Start:

First start PreO moved to 2pm (initially was 3pm)

Saturday (middle distance): 500 meters from the Arena - Pedra Amarela  

Saturday (PreO): 500 meters from the Arena - Pedra Amarela   

Saturday (night sprint): 100 meters from the Arena - Cascais

Sunday (middle distance): 1400 meters the Arena Pedra Amarela    

                - there will be a Pre-Start on Sunday 30 minutes before the start time

 

Parking – Forest Stages:

Zambujeiro Sports Group Football Field (Coordinates: 38.74174009528337, -9.437084671306351) – mandatory for all athletes given the serious parking limitations at Pedra Amarela, so we ask for your cooperation in complying with the established rules.

 

This parking will also be available for campervans from Friday morning. We ask for your cooperation regarding the occupation of the space since this will be the parking for all the athletes during the forest stages; it is strictly forbidden to stick camper stakes or any similar material in this football field

 

Transports – Forest Stages:

Starting at 8 AM. The athletes will be transported to the Arena by bus. The arena is 450 meters (uphill) away from the bus stop and the start is also distant from the arena, so we recommend that the athletes catch the bus around 90 minutes before their start time.

 

Event Center:

Friday: from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the Hard Floor (coordinates: 38.7366777453321, -9.439991017940558)

Saturday and Sunday: from 8 AM at the Arena

 

Bibs:

All athletes that don't have an FPO bib number should pick their bibs at the event center, as well as all the athletes from the Elite classes

 

Bar Service:

There will be bar service at the Arena during the forest stages

 

Competition Area:

Athletes are asked to take extra care during all stages (forest and urban) due to the crossing of busy roads, as they will not be closed.

In the forest stages, there are mandatory crossings marked on the course, so for safety reasons, crossing the roads outside these mandatory crossings is forbidden.

 

Babysitting:

The babysitting will operate during the following schedule:

* Saturday - Forest Stage – Opens at 9:30 AM and closes 1 hour and 30 minutes after the last start

* Saturday - Sprint Stage – Opens at 6:45 PM and closes 15 minutes after the last start

* Sunday – Opens at 9 AM and closes 1 hour and 30 minutes after the last start

 

There will be no babysitting service during the PreO competition.

Only the contact(s) provided by the child's responsible at check-in will be authorized to pick them up. We kindly ask that children remain in the babysitting area only for the strictly necessary time, that is, while their responsibles are competing.

 

Lisbon (and South) car traffic affected on Sunday:

Due to the Lisbon Half Marathon, the Bridge "25 de Abril" and several Lisbon streets will be conditioned, so please check if you can be affected and alternatives.
